I was only able to be a marketing communications intern at the Riekes Center for a little over two months. But in that time I learned an incredible amount. I learned skills that will not only help me in my future marketing endeavors, but also in life. I could not thank the Riekes Center enough for the amazing opportunity to grow!
Personal note:
I will never forget coming to help out with the recital in July and being told an hour beforehand that I would be doing the interviews that night. That was something that would completely take me outside of my comfort zone. The first couple interviews were a little hard because I was so nervous. However, after I got into the swing of things I actually began to enjoy it. By the end I was so happy I was able to accomplish the task. The cherry on top was hearing people congratulate me on a job well done.
